Richard Walsh

A founder and general partner of Rogal + Walsh + Mol, Richard’s focus is finance.  Richard is currently responsible for the management, operations and finances of the Napa Pipe project. He formerly served as the chief operating officer of Carneros Partners, the development entity that brought Carneros Inn to life. Richard was a partner with Keith and Caspar in the creation, development and operation of The Carneros Inn, with a particular emphasis on finance and operations. Prior to his work at Carneros, Richard was a general partner with Duff Ackerman & Goodrich, a San Francisco private equity firm.  Previously, Richard served as a consultant to The Conservation Fund, a national non-profit organization committed to blending environmental goals with economic benefit, and forging creative partnerships with land owners and various public agencies.  Earlier in his career, he held various financial positions with The Carlyle Group and Chase Manhattan Bank. He is married and the father of three young sons. He spearheaded the relocation of the Cow Hollow School to the Presidio, volunteers as a mentor to several students, and recently served on the Board of Directors of the Cope Family Center in Napa. Richard graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies with Honors from Brown University and a master’s degree from the Yale School of Management.
